Yoga Nidra Weekend Training
w/ Betsy Weiner

May 15th -17th

Yoga Nidra is both a practice and a state of being. Like yoga itself, it is a complete and holistic path. It is not simply a relaxation technique, but a profound doorway into awareness, restoration, deep inner listening and intention setting in a state of doubtlessness. In this teacher training, we will immerse ourselves in the history, philosophy, and living lineage of Yoga Nidra through the lens of the Himalayan Tradition, Tantra, and the Radiant Rest approach of Empowered Wisdom. We will explore how these ancient practices evolved, why they evolved, and how they remain deeply relevant in modern life. Now, more than ever, rest is not indulgent, it is essential.A rested body is a resourced body, and a resourced body can meet the complexity, stimulation, and demands of the present day with steadiness and clarity.

You will learn how to practice with depth and integrity, how to discern when, where, and why to use specific techniques, and how to guide others into the sacred space of conscious rest. We will explore the architecture of the practice and the subtle inner terrain it reveals.
Yoga Nidra invites us into true rest; the kind that recalibrates the nervous system and restores access to our intuition and inner knowing.

Together we will explore:
- The Sacred Abode of Yoga Nidra
- The Six Aims of Yoga Nidra and how they function within the practice
- Practical methods and techniques to skillfully guide these aims
- The Four States of Consciousness and their experiential relevance
- The intentional use of Sankalpa and it’s transformative power
- The depth and breadth of personal practice
- Teaching practicum with meaningful feedback and refinement

Betsy Weiner

For over 20 years, Betsy has had the great honor of guiding, teaching, coaching, facilitating and mentoring, rooted in the foundation of the practices of yoga, meditation, Yoga Nidra, mindfulness, integrative well-being, and Ayurveda. Tantra and the lineage of Sri Vidya and the Himalayan Masters has been the main focus of her study, practice, and teaching. It is through these ancient techniques, and their application to modern living, that she finds the intersection of where the inner Self and the outer self meet. Betsy believes that each individual is born with innate wisdom, freedom, and joy. She finds deepest meaning in facilitating the process of guiding others towards remembering what is inheren; that they are a spark of the Divine, and ultimately, the architect of their own lives.
